There was a great turnout for this year's Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration held at the MLK Performance Arts Center at Charlottesville High School.
We were led by a 140+ voice choir, and this year's guest speaker was civil rights attorney and ordained minister Cornell W. Brooks, Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership and Social Justice at the Harvard Kennedy School and former president and CEO of the NAACP.
